Dell i7 battery

Hello

I replaced the battery with following battery

KR-049VTP-75501-2B0-C1VE-A00

Can you please update whether its DELL original battery and how many cells?

One more question?

What is input requirement for this battery. Is my charger ok?

My charger properties are

Input: AC 100-240V~1.5A 50-60Hz

Output: DC 19.5V, 4.62A

Model number

CN-0Y4M8K-72438-2CA-549E-A00

Made in China

DP/N 0Y4M8K

I asked about battery because i feel like little current on laptop body when i connect charger

Hi,

Welcome to the community

Serial # KR-049VTP-75501-2B0-C1VE-A00 is a 6-Cell Battery (Lithium) You can use your current ac adapter if that came along with the system. 90W should be fine. Computer will produce an error message once its not the right or compatible ac adapter. Let me know if further help is needed.

yes current is present without battery.

i tried removing battery and run on AC only, still current persists.

Do you have a known good charger to test with? If yes can you try it.
