Dell inspiron 1564 Black Screen without display (Beep Code - 1 Long beep 2 short beep and again 2 short beep)
Hi,
Today my laptop (dell inspiron 1564) display suddenly gone and when I restarted, it is showing black screen and there is some beep code associated with it.
The beep code is 1 Long beep 2 short beep and again 2 short beep. After that there is no beep sound.
1 2 and 3 4 and 5
beeeeeeeep beepbeep beepbeep
I searched a lot in internet and did not find any suitable answer for this beep code . Any help in this is really appreciated, at least the area of problem identification is also helpful for me.

That series of beep codes is an usual one for a Dell. For that model a series of 5 beeps would be the CMOS Battery needs replacing. An inexpensive fix if that is the source of the problem.

I changed the CMOS battery but the problem is there with the same beep pattern. Please note that the beep is not a continuous 5 beep. The beep is pattern is as described in first message. The first beep is long beep and then there is a small delay then second and third beep comes without any delay. After the third beep there is again a small delay and fourth and fifth beep comes. If anyone has any other possible solution for this please let me know
