Dell inspiron 3442 Battery draining after shutting down laptop in windows 10
When i updated windows from 8.1 to 10, it works fine for couple of days..but suddenly in windows 10 my battery is draining after shutting down my laptop...i re-installed but no result...so i retured to windows 8.1 and laptop is working fine...then again i updated dell bios, drivers and install windows 10.. but still i m facing draining problem...it is very irritating please provide any helpful solution. i have tried so many trick but nothing happened...

Hi lunarlight,
After you power down the system is there any lights or leds that stays on?
When you re-start the system, do you get the Dell logo or any other screen directly?
What is the status of the battery and adapter in Windows and BIOS?
Do you have this issue in Windows 8.1 as well or is just Windows 10?

No there is no light stays on...
Yes Dell logo shows...
In windows 8.1 it works fine.. just problem in windows 10...
