Hdd caddy is not recognized by laptop
hi,
i have a dell inspiron 1526
i changed my hdd with an ssd and i want to put the old hdd instead of the optical unit.
i bought a hdd caddy and when i insert de hdd in the computer did not recognize it.
i updated the bios to A16 version, but no luck.
could anyone help me or tell me if is a problem with the second hdd, maybe the 1526 model does not support the second hdd ?

This will be something you'll want to ask of the manufacturer of the caddy -- these devices don't work in all systems. The hit and miss nature means you may have to try more than one before you find one that works.
