How to disconnect power adapter wires?
Hello,
I have a DELL XPS 13 9343. The power adapter is composed by three components: the adapter itself plus two wires: one from the adapter to the pc, one from the adapter to electricity. It seems that the wire between the adapter and the pc can be disconnected from the adapter itself. Is this correct? I just don't see where the advantage is: it is not stable enough (for it can be turned in different directions), but on the other side it seems to indisconnetable. I would like to know whether this is true or not.

Hi,
Yes the adapter has two components, the connection between the adapter and wall outlet (i.e. power cable) can be disconnected, but not the other one. The only advantage is, there are situations where only the power cable goes back for few customer, rather than purchasing the entire adapter which will be costly, customer can get only the cable replaced.
