How to make a bootable CD with Dell Diagnostics if you do not have a floppy drive

I had to reformat my drive after it went bad some time ago, and I lost the Diagnostics partition on it. I also lost my bootable CD that was shipped with my laptop that had the Dell Diagnostics on it. After digging through the forums I found a fair amount of people with the same problem, and now that I've figured out a quick and easy was to make a bootable cd with the Dell Diagnostics on it, I thought I would post my solution here:

Please note that I have a Inspiron 9300.

1) Create a new folder on the desktop called "delldiag"

2) Download a copy of the latest Dell Diagnostics (get the self-extracting one, starting with the CZ prefix)

3) Extract the files to the "delldiag" folder on your desktop (or whatever you called it)

4) Download the "Windows 98 SE without a RAMDrive Boot Disk ISO" from the following site:
http://www.allbootdisks.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=42&func=fileinfo&parent=folder&filecatid=1870

5) Next you will need an ISO editor capable of editing bootable ISOs. I would recommend MagicISO:

(don't worry about the price; the "trial" version you download will do everything you need it to)

6) Run MagicISO and open the "Windows 98 SE without a RAMDrive Boot Disk ISO" you downloaded in Step 4. (it should be called Win98SEnoram.iso)

7) Click the "Add directory" button on the top toolbar (if you are having trouble finding it, it's just to the right of where you see the word "Bootable" on the top toolbar)

8) Select the directory you extracted all the files to in Step 3.

9) Save the ISO. (File -> Save) You can go ahead and exit the program now.

10) Burn the ISO you just created to a blank CD.

11) Reboot your laptop. Press F12 while it is booting up and have the computer boot from the CD drive (or you can go into the BIOS and change the boot order so that the computer boots from the CD)

12) You will boot into a DOS environment. The CD drive leter is mounted as R: For those not familiar with DOS commands, when the CD has finished booting and you have the C:\> prompt, type the following:
R:
cd delldiag
delldiag

All set! If you followed this guide correctly the Dell Diagnostic software should be loading up properly.
