Inspiron 1525 Operating system Reinstall hangs at 'Windows Loading Files'

I've run the Dell direct media cd that comes with the restore disk sets.  This 'Direct Media' does the formatting of the disks and then once that has run, you are supposed to insert the Operating system disk and install windows normally.   My problem is that the Operating system disk never gets past the 'Windows loading files' Black and white progress bar of installing the operating system.  Any ideas of how to fix this?  I can't believe that I'm the first to ever encounter this problem.

Hi JJenkinson,

Try to reinstall the operating system with one memory on the computer.

Below link would help you in replacing/removing the memory on the computer:

If the issue persists, run diagnostics on the computer; restart the computer by holding the FN and power button simultaneously. Let the diagnostics complete.

Awaiting your response!
