Inspiron E1505 Laptop Gaming

Here's the specs of my laptop:

Intel Duo processor T2300 (2MB Cache/1.66GHz/667MHz FSB)
LCD Panel 15.4 inch UltraSharp
Memory 1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm
Video Card 256MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400 HyperMemory
Hard Drive 100GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
Primary Battery 85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery

I know I had questions about what this laptop could do in the gaming department before I bought it.  I wasn't building this as a gaming rig, but I was hopefull that it would play some older games.  So far I loaded 2 demos and 1 game on it and they run great.

I'm running the UT2004 and BF1942 Secret Weapons demos at 1024x768 with 2xaa and 2xaf.  They run almost as good as my gaming rig.  I also installed Quake 3 Arena and had a blast on it last night with the same settings.

In conclusion, this laptop gave me about what I expected in the gaming department.   The battery life is about 5 1/2 hours from what I can tell with the 9 cell battery.  Dell makes a great notebook for sure.  They delivered it quickly and it runs great.  I never had any problems with my old 8100 either.   Go Dell!
