Inspiron E1705 HARD DRIVE UPGRADE
I have a Inspiron E1705, 5 months old, with 160gb hard drive. It is to small and I want to upgrade it. I am getting confliction information.
1. Will it only hold one drive? I want the max possible.
2. If it will only hold one drive is there a size limit, one Dell tech rep said it will only hold a 200gb hard drive.
3. Newer 17XX models will hold 2x250gb drives, so can't mine?

One drive by design. There's a clunky media bay adapter that is available from some third parties - as long as you don't care about aesthetics, it'll replace the CD/DVD drive. No, there's no other internal space for a drive.

One drive yes, any size will work.

Not by design. The chassis is totally different.
