Is my laptop model supported for this graphics driver update?

Hello,

I noticed an update for the nVIDIA graphics driver in their website.

Can I install it on my laptop?

My laptop model is Inspiron 15z 5523 it supports GeoForce GT 630M

But what do the mean by

  1. Notebooks supporting Hybrid Power technology are not supported (NVIDIA Optimus technology is supported).

Does my laptop model have Hybrid Power technology?

You should not use drivers from nVidia on your system - the nVidia driver has to work in tandem with the Intel drivers, and the two should come from Dell, NOT nVidia.

The direct answer is that your system is not HybridPower (the newer name for SLi technology, which uses two nVidia cards).  That's the province of high-end Alienware and similar gaming systems.

OK thanks..

Shouldn't I also use drivers from the Intel website?

Because when I install a newer version of the Intel Graphics card v.10.18.10.3621

And with the nVIDIA driver installed from Dell v .331 65 I get memory leak for Windows Explorer

But when I use the older driver for Intel Graphics from the dell site, this issue doesn't occur.

You should use ONLY the drivers from Dell - not Intel or nVidia.
