Latitude 3480 HDD upgrade
Hello,
My laptop does not see any other disks except the original one.
Dell Latitude 3480 originally equipped with a Micron SSD MTFDDAV256TBN (M.2).
I need a larger 480 GB SSD or bigger. If I insert the WDS500G2B0A or PI480GS25SSDR (both are 2.5 ") BIOS tells me that no hard drives are available, Standard HDD also is unavailable. Unfortunately I do not have the M.2 drive to test.
Do you have any ideas for the disk to be visible?

Hi Karol,
The cable used for the M.2 SSD is different to the one needed for a 2.5" SATA. The SSD cable has part number 0P8PD, whilst the 2.5" drive needs part number FD9M5. They aren't cross compatible.
