Latitude 7275 battery drain while sleeping

We are testing the 7275 hybrid device, and we have noticed that the battery will drain significantly overnight while in "sleep" mode.  We have un-checked the box that would keep it connected to wireless while asleep but it still drains 50% or more of the battery overnight while in sleep mode.  These devices have Windows 10 with a custom image build.  Has anyone else worked with these devices and seen similar behavior?

I just bought this device for work and will be stuck with this for the next 3 years.  I noticed that when I got off work, I had this in sleep mode (5:30pm) with a 100% charged battery.  By the time I got home, it would be around 72% left.  It is almost as if the system never went to sleep.  Like you, I have also turned off the wifi while asleep.

I have a Windows 10 Enterprise and it is the first image that my team would be using for other systems moving forward.  Pretty vanilla installation.

In a nut shell, I am having the same issue as you.  Do you have it addressed?  Anyone else has an issue with this?

Have You solved the problem ?

I have got same Laptop 7275, and same problem, my is UHD version.

Battery lasts for 2h of work (nobody is telling that when you are buying it !

The laptop is perfect (as for M7 setup with integrated graphics) but really, it is not for work.

What is the sense of buing portable computer (and this is really portable) if you can work 2h max !.

They should make it 0,5 mm thicker with battery that can last 16h ! lol.

But that is not possible to change now (without replacing battery with powercell .

The problem is that it drains power even when turned off.

At 7 PM laptop 100% charged. disconnected from charger closed, with standard windows 10 pro settings. "lid" closed laptop putted on the desk.

6 AM morning next day 17% +- of battery.

When i'm turning it on in the morning it boot up with DELL logo so it was in sleep, but why the f****  it drained over 80% of battery ?

other laptops from other manufacturers do not do that .

How to fix that ?

Hi guys,

the issue is most likely caused by the Connected Standby feature and is working as designed. It's possible to disable Connected Standby by changing a registry key (you do so at your own risk):
