Problem to switch graphics adapter in Inspiron 5567

The GPU is chosen by right-clicking on the program icon and in Properties, assigning it to the GPU you wish.

NOTES:

1.  ALL video data - even if it is processed by the AMD GPU, passes through the Intel GPU on the way to the display panel.  There is no physical connection between the AMD GPU and the screen.  This means that to Windows, the Intel GPU will ALWAYS show active AND PRIMARY.

2.  By far, not all applications support the hybrid video setup.  You may find programs (particularly older games and applications) that will use only the Intel GPU.  These may require an update or a paid upgrade to function on a hybrid system.

3. ALL of the hybrid setup is software-controlled - the Intel GPU is the default unless you choose to run the application with high performance video.  Also, whether your system is running on AC or battery will also affect the GPU choice.

It sounds like you expected a true, discrete GPU -- if that's so, it's not what you purchased.  This is a mid-range, multipurpose multimedia system - it's not a high performance gaming/video system.

To get a true, discrete GPU these days, you need to look well north of the $1,000 level - at an Alienware system (or an equivalent one from Clevo, Aorus, MSI, Asus ROG, etc.).

Sound like a system issue. Does it mean that I paid $100 for a 3rd party GPU with limited use in a Win 10 laptop ?
