Replacement Screen for Dell Inspiron 1440 Laptop

My Niece got a brand new Dell Inspiron 1440 Laptop when she went to college.  Unfortunately she dropped it and the display got damaged.  It's under warranty, but of course it doesn't cover repairing after being dropped.  We think that if we replace the display everything else will still be OK.  I've pulled up the original system configuration from Dell and I'm looking at the parts list, but I'm not sure which part is the actual display.  One part says "Liquid Crystal Display, 14.0HDF, Light Emitting Diode, True Life, Benjing Opti Electronics" (Part Number D98R6) and there is another one that says "Bezel, Liquid Crystal Display Plastic, With, Camera, 1440" (Part Number K216P).  There are a couple of other items that mention the display, but I think they are just the brackets/hinges and not the actual display.  Does anybody have this problem or know what the actual part I need is or where I can get it?  I've worked on desktops before but laptops are something I don't have any experience with.  I know I can take the display apart and get the part number, but I'd rather not muck around if I can find it another way.  Any ideas?
