Restore Vostro 3450 Laptop to Factory Settings

I want to Restore my laptop to the factory settings.  I pressed the F8 key to get to the Advanced Boot Menu and selected the Repair Your Computer option.  Instead of taking me to the menu with option for me to do the restore, the machine continued to boot.  I tried many times, but with no success.  Please help.  Thanks in advance.

Hi Dell-NewSt,

After selecting Repair computer, if you are not getting ‘System Recovery option’ to restore the system to the factory installed state, I suspect the recovery partition is corrupted and you should consider installing the Operating system manually. Let me know the Operating system the system was shipped with to provide instruction for manual installation.

How to remove the 10 update:

(assuming the update was done less than 30 days ago).  If it was longer than that, you'll need to reload the original OS from your recovery media.
