Touchpad upper edge popping out on Inspiron 15 7559

So I've noticed today that the upper edge of my laptop's touchpad seems to be rising slightly as if something is pushing it up from behind. I can push it back in, but it just comes up again. Initially I was worried I had a swelling battery, since the battery is situated in that area. But I opened up the laptop to check, and the battery shows no signs to distortion at all. My best guess now is that it might be a problem with whatever adhesive Dell used to glue it down.

Hello. I am facing similar problems but its not the touchpad. It is the black casing near the left hinge that is coming out. On an attempt to write to tech support, it keeps asking me to run diagnostic tool but there is no issue in the hardware or software as such. It is the laptop casing that isn't glued properly and so it is uprooting itself. A little help on the advice or help that was provided to you will be much appreciated.

Thanking you

AJ
