Video Card (Graphics Card?) for Latitude D610 running Vista Ultimate

Hey I recently upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate on my Latitude D610, and on the whole it functions extremely well, much better than I would have hoped. However, there are certain things that do not function properly, and with the assitance of "Windows Vista Upgrade System Adivisor" I was able to find out that the only things I need are, more or less, suggestions.

The first is a DVD burner, which is not something really need.

The second however seems a bit more important to me though. It suggest I get a new video card so I can use Windows Aero. I'd also like to be able to get one so I can play some newer games.

My current system specs are posted below. I'll be getting a 100 GB hard drive so don't be concerned about the size of my hard drive if it makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

What you see is what you get with the D610 - there is no way to upgrade the video, short of replacing it with a newer model.

replacing the computer for a newer model or the video card?

Assuming I can't replace the video card can you tell me what kind I have and possibly direct me to the right places so I can update my drivers if possible,

thanks for the response

You either have Intel integrated video or ATI X300 video, neither of which is easily upgradeable. The ATI X300 isn't upgradeable at all. The Intel video can be upgraded to the ATI X300 only by replacing the entire system board - the video chip is part of the chipset (Intel) or soldered to the system board separately (ATI). Neither will run Aero (at all or well). The cost of a system board - $400 or so - makes upgrading impractical.
