What is a SERVER TOKEN PASSWORD?
Hi,
I really need your assistance. My Dell Inspiron 14z did not turn on for 3 days, and when it did turn on it is asking for a PASSWORD or a SERVER TOKEN PASSWORD which I did not set up. I tried to bring it at the store but they couldn't help me aside from they don't know what to do I don't have the receipt anymore. I only have the Service Tag as a proof that I am still covered by my warranty. The prompt appears after I turn it on.
Thanks,,,

I am having the same issue. I purchased a new Inspiron 14Z last Friday. Turned it on and set it up. Today, Sunday, I tried to turn on again and I got the Dell Logo. I found on this site how to get the laptop to boot up.
NOW, It is asking for a password. I DID NOT SET a password when I set my new laptop up last Friday. How do I get around this issue?
Operating system WIndows 8
DID NOT set up an account password
No Error message. Just asking for a password.
Thanks,
natghana
