Windows 7 dell inspiron 1525
Hi all.
I have Dell Inspiron 1525. no bluetooth, celeron 1.8GHz, 4GB RAM, HDD 320 SATA WD Caviar, windows xp sp2, bios up to date (A17).
When i'm installing windows 7 (boot from dvd), hangs on the first screen. Mouse and keyboard not responding.
I tried installing from windows xp. Copy the files correctly, the following restart, then I get a blue screen with the code 0x000000007b (0x80d86b58, 0xc0000034,0x00000000, 0x00000000). I tried to give AHCD Inactive but without result.
I tried several versions of Windows 7, always the same effect.
Can someone help me?

Download Ubuntu 10.04 and try that
Windows didn't run very well on mine and installation was a headach(vista Home Premium & Ultimate)
I tried Ubuntu and it installed very well and everything works
Been running it for 1-1/2 yrs
