XPS 13 touch screen scrolling keeps zooming in

Hi,

I have a new XPS 13 but one thing is really bugging me.

Whenever I am scrolling with the touch screen, with just one finger, after a few scrolls it keeps zooming in the screen. I could understand if I was using two fingers and it mistook it for pinch to zoom but this is just flicking with one finger or a thumb.

Anyway to fix or disable this?

Hi randomnut,

I would suggest you to update the BIOS and touchpad drivers on the system for issue resolution. Please enter your service tag # on the link below and click on ‘Get drivers and downloads’ then download the BIOS from BIOS section and touchpad driver from ‘Mouse, Keyboard & Input Devices’ section onto the system and install it.

Please let me know if this helps.

Hi,

I have installed the latest BIOS A05, but there is no touchpad driver available for windows 10.

Besides, would the touchpad driver be effective for the touch screen as well?

Edit: Even if I switch to 8.1, there is no trackpad driver listed under input devices, just 'unifying application'.  There is however a trackpad firmware listed under the firmware section, but I have checked and it is the same version as is already installed.
