audio driver for dell xps m1330
I'm Vietnamese,my english is not good.pls help me
I had a notebook xps m1330,before,i used Window Vista Home Premium,but now i want to use Window XP.I installed Window XP but have some problems in drivers.i used resources cd but didn't find enough drivers.I I've googled and found some drivers but when i installed audio driver

my laptop's system inform me "This is not correct audio driver for this system.The installer will now exit"
PLS Help me!!!!

The driver you are trying to install is for your previous Vista 32 Bit operating system. You need to find the correct XP version as this model never shipped with XP installed. This may be offered directly from the manufacturer site or you may have to find this audio card in another Dell model that shipped with XP installed as an option. Good Luck

If you have not already installed an Intel Mobile Chipset driver then do so now. Use the Intel Mobile Chipset driver 153997. Then
1. Open Windows Explorer and go to c:\Dell\drivers\R171789 and delete the R171789 folder. That is your audio driver.
2. Go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888111 and get the UAA driver. Install it and restart the computer.
3. Download R171789 again or re-use the previous download if you still have it..
4. After it finishes extracting the files and begins to install, cancel.
5. Open Device Manager and expand System devices near the bottom. Find the PCI Device entry with a ? next to it. Go to the properties and choose to update the driver. Choose to manually find the driver and don't let Windows look for it.
Browse to c:\Dell\drivers\R171789\WDM
With any luck it should detect some new hardware and one of them should be the Sigmatel.
