battery display "unknown remaining"

Hi Len,

How long have you been facing this issue? There is a possibility that the third party battery is not working (not compatible) with your system. It is recommended to use a Dell battery in Dell systems. You can try re-seating the battery and see if that makes any difference. Connect the old battery with your system (battery which was shipped along with your system) to check if that works fine. Alternatively, check this battery with any other laptop, if possible.

Hello, just replaced battery today,  look like  charge full or not don't now  with grey battery icon..........what do you mean re-seating the battery? thanx len
