how do I get the laptop speakers to stop when using headphones?
I am using a dell vostro 130 and when I plug in my headphones I still hear the audio through the regular laptop speakers. I have been to the control panel and tried multiple settings and still unable to get it to work.

Welcome to the Community. You will need to update your Audio drivers, below is the link to download it from our support site. Please make sure you select the correct operating system before you download it. You will find it onder Audio.
