inspiron 2200
on my laptop i have a split section linux mint 10 and widows xp the linux picks up the wifi but i can not get the windows part to pick uip the wifi what do i need to do

You need to download the Dell notebook system software, the chipset driver and the wireless driver using a working system. Put them on a flash drive or CD and install them on the notebook in that order.

You need to install the driver - and before installing the wireless driver, you must install the Dell notebook system software and the Intel chipset driver (all can be downloaded from support.dell.com).

You're going to need another computer with a CD writer and a blank CD.
