inspiron n5010 shut down during memory diagnostic test
here the problem occure in laptop after the replacement of motherboard and ram ,when ever i run pc checkup tool the test shows that launch a window memory diagnostic tool, and when ever i run these tool,during the process of second part my laptop get shutdown without any warning and nothing result show after start the computer, Is these RAM problem or MOTHERBOARD problem please tell me how to fix it. Because they both has been replaced by dell within the warrenty because the problem occure after the replacement of both RAM and MOTHERBOARD . is these hardware problem or any thing else PLEASE HELP ME....................service tag Service tag removed per privacy policy>

You may try to run an onboard diagnostic test on your computer to ensure the correct functionality of system hardware. To know more about diagnostics, you may refer to link: http://dell.to/OUGnqT
In case you get any errors related to memory, you may try reseating the memory module of your computer; swap and try one module at a time in each slot. See if it works. If the memory modules are seated properly, swapped and checked, and do work with another computer; it means it is an issue with the memory slot (motherboard).
Please share the findings.

This could be a memory problem. If the memory diagnostic tool runs at boot-up, outside of the operating system, then that rules out anything like drivers.
One factor that is often overlooked is that memory tests can be processor-intensive, and this can create excess heat, causing an emergency shutdown. I've encountered this effect before in system diagnosis. The fact that you've replaced the RAM and the motherboard makes this a possibility - it could be that the thermal seal between the processor and the heatsink isn't as good as it could be. If you've re-used the old thermal transfer pad then it should have been replaced with a new one, because they retain imprints from having been previously used and don't guarantee a perfect fit when put back in place.
