inspiron n5050 after bios upgrade problems

In order to assist you further, please help me understand few details:
-- Was the BIOS update interrupted by any chance?
-- Did the computer restart after the BIOS update?
-- Is the Bluetooth detected in Device Manager under network adapters? 

If yes, please uninstall it, restart the computer and re-install the Bluetooth drivers. In case it is not at all detected in Device Manager, then restart the computer and install the Bluetooth drivers and check the functionality.

no the bios update wasn't interrupted it went totally normal and smooth

and yes the computer restarted after it

and Bluetooth not detected at all ... it just disappear totally

of course i did that and it say turn on your Bluetooth

the driver will never be installed unless the hardware detected SIR

Please don't get me wrong,  lot of times even though the hardware is not detected in the device manager, re-installing the drivers fix the issue. However, if the device is still not detected after installing the driver software, re-seating the Bluetooth card can be tried. Please refer the service manual to re-seat the wireless half mini card.

i guess its not right to ask a normal person to disassemble his laptop in way to make his Bluetooth work back

the whole point is a mistake from dell developer they created a bios not compatible with all the hard ware inside the laptop model and released it

for me as IT Manager for over 15 years i can do that but simply it mean my laptop will be out of warranty if i did so

i was hoping you will transferee the situation to the bios developer in a way to modify it and release new bios can fix the problem

I am trying to do same type of thing...Downgrade my BIOS from A05 to A04 (or A03) and using the /forceit gives me error saying "Unknown Command" but everything I keep reading is telling me this is the right switch to use.  I did see some files that are newer supposedly do not support the /forceit option but that is why I tried A03 since it was slightly older.  The tech person lead me to believe that changing the BIOS would solve my issue is why I am trying it this way. The confusing part....I have not updated the bios in months and all of a sudden the error message appears at boot saying something about 65 watt power needed and it does not recognize the a/c as that high of a wattage.  Any help would be wonderful!

Regarding the previous posts(months ago) about the Bluetooth problem:

It might have been a good idea to just boot to the BIOS and activate the Bluetooth device - but I guess the problem has already been fixed by now.

Dell's power adapter have an additional control wire.This wire allows the BIOS to retrieve information about your power adapter (the information is stored on a tiny memory chip inside the adapter)

> try a different (borrowed - if possible) power adapter => memory chip/cable/plug could be broken
