no sr. no. on keyboard and mouse
I bought a Dell KM113 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo from SNAPDEAL.COM with one year warranty. After some times its starting troubling me. So I contacted to Dell Support and they asked for Sr. No. which is mention at the back of keyboard or mouse but there was no Sr. No. is it really over there?
I am asking just because of I have dell mouse but there is also no Sr. No. is mentioned. Please help.
Thank you

Ajay

Hi Ajaykumaryadav81,
Thanks for posting.
Peripheral products do not normally have a Serial Number, Service Tag, but may have a PPID number, which is usually located inside the battery compartment, usually under the battery.
Since you purchased from Snapdeal.com, your product will be warranted by them, so you would have to contact Snapdeal for any technical or care support. Thanks
Regards,
Robert

Hi ROBERT P,
Thank you very much sir.. for your reply.
Actually I also contacted to snapdeal.com customer support and they were also asking for the same sr. no.. They were saying if the Sr. No. is not present then product is fake and will be change. My concern is only to know about the Sr. No. which is asked by the both ends.(seller and manufacturer).
Thank You once again for writing me the facts.
Thanks & Regards,
Ajay
