On the Start Page type "netplwiz" (without the quotes)
Select the correct user name and unclick the option at the top to not require a password.
Press enter and type in your current password twice and press enter.
Restart and see if it took.
You also should go to PC Settings in the Settings icon of the Charm Bar. Under Users, set the password option to not necessary during recovery from sleep.
