Black Screen after Bios Update

Spoiler

I just used the Dell update and it did all the updates and when it did the Bios update it said it would restart. Since then, I have a Black screen. The fan goes on for a couple secs and then the power button light flashes white 6 times and then yellow 3 times. I have unplugged and hit the power button and plugged back in but same thing. I am dead in the water and need for work. Any help is appreciated.

Try clear CMOs Remove the jumper plug from the password jumper-pins (PSWD) and connect it to the CMOS jumper-pins. Wait for 5 seconds and then replace the jumper plug to its original location https://dl.dell.com/topics/inspiron5680_servicemanual/images/GUID-4BDE18A7-D5ED-44A4-86CF-73006FF3E94C-low.jpg https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/inspiron-5680-gaming-desktop/inspiron5680_servicemanual/procedure?guid=guid-9121b45b-cf05-4d91-baf0-62f61bf65434〈=en-us

If clearing BIOS doesn't help, you'll have to try a BIOS Recovery from USB.

The blink code implies it's looking for, but can't find, a BIOS recovery image on your hard drive, so you need to create a recovery USB.  Instructions to create the USB are in the FAQs section on the page linked above
