Can I Swap CPU's
Looking to buy this Optiplex 3010 with an i5 3rd Gen CPU and 8 GB of RAM. I currently have a Dell Inspiron 3670 with an i5-8400 CPU and 12 gigs of RAM. Is it possible to put the CPU and RAM Sticks from the Inspiron into the Optiplex to make it run better? (Switching PCs because of a Hardware Ban in-game)

First of all you cannot go from a 3rd gen CPU to an 8th gen CPU in the Optiplex. The 3rd gen is socket 1155 and the 8th gen is socket 1151. They are simply not compatible. Secondly the RAM is not compatible between systems. The Optiplex uses DDR3 whereas the Inspiron uses DDR4..

Two different sockets so no its not possible to swap cpu between 3rd gen and 8th gen models.
