Hello , I want buy an ssd for my pc , and I want to know If I can buy an Sata III Ssd for my Sata II pc, is that possible?
Always include exact PC model and version of Windows in your posts...
A SATA III SSD should be backward compatible with a SATA II motherboard, but it won't be as fast as when it's connected to a SATA III motherboard.
You can clone your HDD and quickly/easily move everything onto the SSD, assuming the HDD still works and you don't want to do a clean install of Windows to get rid of junk that may have accumulated.

You can and it will work but it wont run at SATA3 Speed.
Advanced Format Drives like SSD require the INTEL RST F6 driver.

Most Drives will also need 3.5 to 2.5 adapter like R494D or the Silverstone SDP09
