Cannot connect Anker SoundBuds via Bluetooth

I have an Inspiron 7790 AIO and my SoundBuds are detected but won't connect.  Anker sent me another pair, but they won't connect either.  They will connect to other BT devices.  My Alexa and phone will connect to my Dell and SoundBuds.

I have reset the fully charged SoundBuds and rebooted the Dell

My BT driver has just been updated, but the problem remains.  Dell support say that the problem is with Anker and Anker say the problem is with Dell.  The SoundBuds do not have a driver.

I don't want to buy other BT headphones in case they do not connect either.

Can anyone help?

Doing a web search, I see a lot of pairing problems with Anker.  Whether any of it applies in this case????

Sometimes when a device is not detected it will still show up in the Device Manager, either as an "unknown" device or have an error code associated with it.

Turn on the ear buds and then display the Device Manager and see if there is any unknown device or device with an error.  If either shows up, uninstall the device in the Device Manager (Right click on the entry to highlight and then left click on Uninstall).  Then power off the ear buds, restart Windows.  After Windows is started, power on the buds and see if they connect/pair OK.

Right click on Start (lower left) and Device Manager will be one of the options.

Did you ever manage to fix this? I have the same issue with my Dell. It's driving me nuts @Katt99

I have the same problem with a pair of new SoundBuds Flow. Those work on any device I have, including two phones, an ipad, a kindle fire hd 8 and an old Dell Latitute E5570, but those just won't connect to a newer Dell G7. I detects the buds but those just won't connect. I've tried everything, from updating drivers to removing devices and it just won't work. I gave up and I use those on my other devices except the G7, which is my main computer. It's weird because a pair of old SoundBuds Slim work perfectly fine, but the battery won't last long anymore and decided to buy the Flows to replace them. Anyway, good luck, hope this will be fixed soon.

Dell will never put any effort into this problem. Just keep buying devices until one works.
