Inspiron 27-7777, drive upgrade
The 256gb ssd main drive is running out of room. All of my photo apps and DAW apps are on the 1TB drive and that is getting tight. My DAW alone is over 260gb.
i need to know if I can upgrade to a 1TB C drive and a 2TB D drive. Also, is there conventional memory slots so I can max out the RAM.
Since I never did any upgrades to the 7777, how would reload Windows 10?

As far as reinstalling Windows 10 I always used Macrium Reflect Free. A little trickier since you are backing up an M.2 SSD. I created a USB Rescue Media from the Other Tasks menu. Then using either an external drive or using your D drive to save the image to, create an image of the C: drive. Then booting from the USB, restore the image to the C: drive. The following are the specs for the storage on the Inspiron 27-7777. According to the specs the HDD and M.2 both are certified for up to 2 TB storage capacity (assuming you are using an M.2 NVMe/PCIe SSD ).

As for memory the following chart should help.Keep in mind those are SODIMM slots as found in laptops not DIMM slots as found in desktops.

Solid state drives have only 256GB of space? LOL!!! What good is that??? Good ol Dell.
