Inspiron 5680, case swap

I have a dell inspiron 5680 with an i5 8400 and a 1060 3gb, would I be able to swap the case to a cit celsius. I have a spare power supply lying around and I was wondering if I could swap the case around?

yes 5680 mobo looks like an oem microATX board.  it uses a proprietary 5 pin power button (#3) but pinout probably same as older Dell optiplex model.

Power button, thermal sensor, etc should be removed from case and modified. The picture from Reddit post is incomplete and will have numerous  errors that requires pressing F1 every time.

05FD93  Power Button cable and switch works.

Most Dells have several sensors that are not optional that must be moved as well.  Otherwise there are multiple errors. Some errors will cause complete system shutdown others require pressing F1 to continue every time and cannot be bypassed.  There is no one size fits all models all years all boards.  Dell does not publish pinouts for any connection.

There is an adapter for the power button.
