Dell KM717 mouse buttons
i am trying to find a program or software that will allow me to re-programme my mouse buttons and my keyboard buttons. i have been using 'logitech' for many years with re-programmable software. I would like ot stay with 'Dell' but am very frustrated with this missing option for my current KM717 keyboard and mouse combo. Please Help

Wouldn't be surprising at all if Logitech made that KM717 combo for Dell.
You might try installing Logitech Options and see if it recognizes your mouse and keyboard. To be safe, manually set a System Restore point before you install Options so you can quickly/easily remove it if it's not compatible with the KM717 combo.
Post back and let us know if Options works with the KM717 combo.

thank you for your suggestion. however the current program I have with my logitecbh keyboard and mouse are only associating itself with the bluetooth function of my keyboard and mouse. this does not recognise the 'dell' bluetooth function.
I have tried the 'logitech options', however it expects a 'unifying' receiver to connect to. this I dont have as it is a bluetooth device

Have you paired the new mouse/keyboard with BT on the PC? This set can also use 2.4 GHz so you might try that. (instructions here.)
If you already use either Logitech Setpoint or Options, you may need to unpair the old mouse/keyboard from the software before it can recognize the new set. Be sure to set a System Restore point before making any changes.
And I guess it's possible you won't be able to change any of the settings on the KM717 set.
