Entering production
How long on average does it take for a Dell g5 computer to go from order confirmed to actually start production? I placed an order a few days ago and it has said that it is about to enter production since then so I'm just wondering how long it will take.

While placing an order at Dell.com
It gives you estimated delivery date which are based on availability of stock. Mostly it's correct.
In case you didn't check while placing your order, try creating an identical order at Dell.com and check what dates are showing
If you think that date is current estimated dates are different have a word with order support (Chat)

This is mainly a user-to-user forum, so we don't know about production times.
It will depend on parts availability and demand, so likely to vary...

Production / Packing Time - This is the time it takes to assemble and / or pack your order for export. Production time and / or product availability affect the length of time.
