Inspiron 3275, RAM upgrade

Hello...we just purchased an Inspiron 3275 and realized it only has 4 gb of RAM. Is it possible to  upgrade the memory?

You can but the system only has 1 SODIMM slot. So you would have to remove the 4 GB RAM module and replace it with an 8 GB or 16 GB RAM module.

Table 1. Memory specifications.

Slots One SODIMM slot
Type

DDR4

Speed
  • 1866 MHz (E2 processor)
  • 2133 MHz (A6 and A9 processors)
Configurations supported:
Total memory 4 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB

If you are in the US/ Canada, you can contact Dell sales team on 1-800-289-3355 or use the memory selector link

You can also try Crucial as their RAM is the most compatible with Dell. The site for your system is here.
