Inspiron 3880 Super Slow
Dell Inspiron desktop is super slow - Help!
specs:
- Dell 3880 Inspiron desktop
- Core i5 – 10400 CPU @2.90Ghz
- 8 GB installed RAM
- 64 bit
would adding RAM help?

open task manager>performance details and view memory usage % as well as cpu running freq. If ram is used <50% then adding ram would probably not help. is cpu running at base freq?
Internet speed is another potential point of subjective slowness. run speedtest to see what your download is.
if you are using hdd, upgrade to ssd will help speed up OS boot.
