Inspiron 5675, upgrade compatibility issues
My pc came stock with a RX 560, AMD A10 9700, and 8GB of unknown Micron ram. I upgraded to a RX 570 with no issues. Tried to install a Ryzen 5 1600 but it did boot. Possibly the CPU was dead on arrival but it was from an authorized AMD reseller. The biggest issue I have right now is I bought an 8GB stick of Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz 1.2v and when I install it, my pc crashed immediately and the ram got super hot. Been using the stock ram but its benchmarking in the 1% and I can't even remotely run games like Rust.

Two issues. Dell uses custom motherboards and custom chipset implementations. The upgraded CPU may or may not be compatible.
In ref to memory mixing memory brands usually is not a good idea and that is with all PC brands, not just Dell. I have a self built ASUS ROG (Gamer) motherboard and I had some Corsair and GSkill memory of the same speed and voltage. Either the Corsair or GSkill work OK by themselves but together and the PC won't boot and gives memory error.
Thus if you want to upgrade the memory use all the same brand/type. We usually recommend Crucial memory for non-Dell branded memory as it is guaranteed to work in a Dell. If you buy others, get it where they have a liberal return policy in case it doesn't work.

the CPU swap did you reset the BIOS and upgrade it first, if you upgrade bios as you must the you need to reset BIOS forcing it to fully PnP scan it and set it self up to run ok.
just throwing a CPU will fail many times. reset the bios and same for some RAM changes, and upgraded BIOS works there too, so i might support newer DDR or newer CPU.

posted now 1000 of times we answer this, same question.
first off the PC does not support all CPU made for this PC, (dell has no QVL list on RAM nor CPU so there is that) only the options list day one new, had a list of optional CPU and that is the end of that.*(dell paste at end)
upgrading the BIOS is first.
the chip set must like the new CPU
the new CPU must not overload them mobo VRM regs. nor the dell heat sink.
and last, we have posted vast times now the list of 5600 + of other user that did this, here.
now I will past your PC spec below, from DELL actual. 1st google hit BTW 2017 date.
