Inspiron 5680, Clear side panel?

Question

Hey guys,

I have the Inspiron 5680 with the non-transparent side panel and I was curious if Dell sold the side panel that had the glass window in it? I'd love to have the clear panel to see my components since I plan on doing some upgrades.

I have done some light research on this trying to find the part number, whether Dell sold the part as a replacement or not, to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated

I would call Dell parts and inquire if 1XC1K is available for sale.&#xa0;Dell Spare Parts at 800-357-3355..have your service tag when/if you call.

Chris M. posted that part number in my reply. I am not sure if it is still available but calling the Dell parts phone contact number should help. They can give you an updated price and the part availability.
