Inspiron 5680, LED lights dimmed

So yeah I was looking inside my Inspiron 5680 and I unplugged light 1 and as you would do that the LED lights turned off. OK, so then I plugged it back in and now all the LED lights are dimmed and not like they are before I unplugged them. Any way to fix it?

The Inspiron 5680 driver page does not list the Light Bar application. You can try to install the Inspiron 5676 Light Bar Controller application. If it installs, reboot when done. Then;
* Click Start- Dell Light Bar Controller
* Click Dell Light Bar Controller and select On or Off

Sure you reconnected the light bar correctly to the motherboard? Looks like there are 2 connectors on the motherboard in opposite corners marked as "light bar connector" in the Service Manual.

What does that mean? Didn't install, won't run, runs but doesn't change anything...?

BTW: There's both a light bar controller application and a light bar system configuration app for the Inspiron 5675. (Yes, I know you have a 5680.) Did you try installing the configuration app too?

You powered off, disconnected the power cable from the rear of the Inspiron 5680, then disconnected/reconnected BOTH of the Light Bar cables to the motherboard (page 17, items 1 & 9)? If yes, then all we can do is wait for the platform team to release the Inspiron 5680 Light Bar Controller Application and the Inspiron 5680 Light Bar System configuration files to the Inspiron 5680 driver page. Then, we could test those. I told them on the 25th that they were missing.

I can wait for the programs to get released. Also I tried that way of rebooting it a few minutes ago and its still the same way it was before I rebooted.
