Integrated Webcam not working
Hi - our integrated webcam has stopped working. We have done the troubleshooting via the App and came up with a warning at the end. I can't find any solution on the dell website. It was working fine last week as we are using this laptop for homeschooling. Running windows 10 on a Inspiron 5406 2 in 1.

@redxps630 That's a bit extreme at this point.
We don't even know if @Kristit checked the Camera privacy screen in Win 10 to see if the camera accidentally got turned off and that the right app(s) still has permission to use it:

Try running the diagnostics. Reboot and tap F12 immediately without waiting for any screen to get to the boot menu.
This is the desktop forum. Repost in the Laptop forum for more help from other users.

you can try do a fresh clean install of Windows 10 and hope that will bring your camera back working.

@Kristit Exactly what does the "warning" say?
Open Device Manager and see if anything is marked with a ! or X, and/or if there are any "unknown" devices listed anywhere in Device Manager...

Thanks for the response. After plenty of work through's and troubleshooting it turns out the privacy screen (which we didn't know we had) had inadvertently been pushed close. All fixed now
