KEYBOARD LIGHT STUCK ON

Today I noticed that there is a light on, on my keyboard. It's NOT the Number Lock or Caps Lock. I looked into it and found out it's the Scroll Lock. I went through the diagnostics on my system (and keyboard), since they're still under warranty. It says that there is an "Aggregate Keyboard"  Failure, and I had the choice of them sending me a new part to replace.  What causes this? Is there something I can do NOW to turn that light off? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Pressing the scroll lock key will turn it off. The key toggles between off/on.

Hi Mary ~

I had tried that, to no avail. I found it out during the diagnostics test I did. They said it was that Aggregate Failure and ended-up sending me a new keyboard.

In the meantime, I had shut the computer off for the night then turned it back on the next day, BEFORE the new keyboard arrived. The light had mysteriously gone-out!

I never thought of that. I thought that maybe there was something wrong with the keyboard, since I couldn't get the light to go out. When I did the diagnostic test, Dell automatically saw there was a problem and offered to send a replacement part; I did NOT ask for it.
