No Dell Splash Screen on Start up ( Desktop)

I was trying to get into my BIOS but, as we know, you have to access it on start-up from the splash screen.  My computer was booting right to Windows, works fine, but no splash screen.

I sharp telephone tech from Dell, India, figured it out: It was my dual monitor, video card (from my old computer) that I installed on the motherboard bypassing the one that came with the computer.

It was confusing the motherboard.  When I disconnected the video card and connected the monitor directly to the socket on the back of the case, voila, I got the Dell splash screen and was able to boot to BIOS.

Hope this helps someone with the same problem.

OK, thanks, I might do this but I solved the problem by using a graphics card for 1 monitor and the monitor socket on the back of the box for the other monitor.
