OC Contols and VPN
I have a Dell G5 5000. Every time I activate my VPN I get the system saying that OCContols need to download additional components. When I do, it says it again when I activate my VPN. Is this normal?

I gave up on the program and just uninstalled everything to do with Alienware Command Center.

@Sargon_Starblade - I presume you're talking about the Alienware OC Controls application. The support page for the G5000 says this about the latest Alienware OC Controls application:
"You must uninstall the previous version of Alienware OC Controls before installing this version.
The Alienware Command Center application must be installed before installing Alienware Overclocking Controls."
Did you do all that?
And that same support page also says this about installing the latest version of the Alienware Command Center Application:
It is recommended that you install the audio driver version 6.0.1.8394 or later before installing this update. It is applicable on Alienware and Dell G-series systems with Realtek audio.
Did you do that?
Probably the best way to do this would be to uninstall both the OC Controls app and the Command Center app using Revo Uninstaller (free). Be sure to delete all "leftover" files it shows you in bold as you work through the various Revo screens when uninstalling each of them.
Then reboot and manually download (1) latest Realtek driver, if you don't already have it. (2) Latest version of Alienware Command Center. (3) Latest version of Alienware OC Controls application. Install them in the order listed.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling as you suggested. It did not work. As soon as I started my VPN I received the same notice.
