PC and PC fan

is it possible that the replacement psu is not good?  are you sure you connected both 6 pin and 4 pin of psu to motherboard?

if there is still not a single sign of life (no light no fan spin) that would mean the board cannot be powered up.  for last test if you have a spare verified working 24 pin psu then get a 24 to 6 pin adapter to test again.

the original power supply i was using the back of it would flash green then stop then the power button had a amber light it would flash. I replaced it with a different power supply and im still getting the same problem.

Does the power supply diagnostics LED light up on back of PC, below the power cord socket?

Maybe a failed power button module on PC?

And keep in mind that on newer PSUs, its fan doesn't spin unless it's needed for cooling. It's an energy savings feature.

Exactly what does this mean?

If the power button is still blinking, count the blinks because that's an error code. Blinks may come in  groups, eg 2 blinks with longish pause followed by 2 blinks and repeat, or 2 blinks with short pause, 1 blink, longer pause, repeat.

And did you install a compatible PSU that has the right voltages for your PC?

there was only 1 bink then a long pause. What does this indicate.

Blink codes on this model are supposed to come in two groups. So one blink doesn't tell you anything.

What color is the PSU status LED on back of PC, with new PSU installed?

Are you sure this is a compatible PSU?

try clear cmos setting of 3470 by jumper reset on motherboard.

also try a verified working spare psu, if the replacement oem psu can not be verified.

you may also try bios recovery but this is unlikely to work if no power to cpu fan.

there is a long list of possible causes of no POST include cmos corruption, corrupted BIOS, or bad motherboard. clear cmos is easiest step to take.  if bios is corrupted then the board is bricked, essentially the same as bad mobo.

given no power to cpu fan, less likely ram issue.  bad cpu also unlikely.  assume you do not have a discrete PCIe gpu in this model.

3470 is an Itty bitty sub compact machine that I do not consider to be repairable let alone user power supply replaceable.

Its also new enough that it should be under warranty.

your mobo should have a jumper on password pins.  the cmos pins normally do not have jumper.

Remove the jumper plug from the password jumper-pins (PSWD) and connect it to the CMOS jumper-pins.
