Requirements to add a GPU?
Inspiron 3910
So I'm running a new Inspiron 3910 but I'm wanting to try and install a graphics card for it. I'm not exactly tech-savvy though. From what I understand, my current power supply does not have the wattage to run a GPU? Nor does it even have a power cord for one?
I'm wanting to install an Asus AMD RX580, which was given to me by a friend.
What spec changes or upgrades would I have to make in order to install this GPU? A new motherboard? Just a new Dell power supply? Or could it be any power supply? Some input would be seriously appreciated.

No new motherboard needed. You just need to upgrade the power supply to 500w and it's all set. Review this discussion and choose the correct power supply.

concur w chino. for RX580 in 3910 you would need minimum 500w psu
Load Wattage: 470 W
Recommended PSU Wattage: 520 W
one user reported D500EPS-01 (Delta) TPX56 works in 3910.
another user validated RX580 (XFX) in 3910 https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/61028089
