WK636p wireless keyboard, e not working

I've got one key, the "e", that only registers occasionally. Google search suggested the most likely reason was something interfering with the contacts on the bottom of the key. The recommended fix was to clean out the keyboard by shaking upside-down, by vacuuming or by blowing out with compressed air. Well, I've tried all those with no success.

Nowhere did I ever see a recommendation to take the back off the keyboard to give it a better cleaning. Is there any reason not to take the back off for cleaning, or won't even that let me get directly at the problem? Or will I be unlikely to get all the loose pieces back in correctly?

Has anyone reading this actually taken the back off, and what can I expect? Would like to hear from you.

Or, does anybody have another suggestion for fixing the problem? Thanks.

You can try cleaning it, with the back off, but ultimately it will have to be replaced.  Keyboards are not made to be repaired.

Most keyboards no longer use actual switches.
The flex circuit cannot be cleaned.
Only solution is to replace keyboard.

It doesn't work for me either. Actually, the whole line involving the "3", "E", "D" and "C" is not working. I'm returning this unfunctional keyboard and buying another one from another brand.
