2 beeps while laptop is running, touch pad not working intermittently.
Dell Laptop bought a year and a half ago after having a macbook and have had nothing but pain with it.
Over the past 3 months the track pad has started to freeze up and over the past few days I have had a 2 beep code that occurs sometimes.
The guide that Dell gives is absolutely useless. Has anyone got any ideas about this? I use this for software developing and I am bitterly disappointed with it.

Hard to say what the beep code is since I assume it does not happen at startup. But if you are experiencing a 2 beep code along with the system freezing it may be a RAM issue. 2 Beeps at startup would be RAM problems, it is possible therefor that the RAM is giving you trouble. Try reseating the RAM and see if the beep issue is gone. Also at startup when you see the Dell splash screen, start tapping F12. Run full diagnostics and pay attention to the RAM results.
