7386 2 in 1 - question about additional ssd

It is my understanding that the 256GB nvme drive that came with this model is m2 2230, but is installed in a slot that can be changed between 2230 and 2280, and that the additional m2 socket only allows for m2 2230.

So in order to add an additional nvme drive, likely m2 2280,  I will have to move the original SSD over to the m2 2230 slot in order to keep using it.

I want to continue using the original drive as a boot/OS drive, while adding a larger m2 2280 nvme drive to the original slot as a new storage device.

Will I be able to simply change the boot order in the UEFI BIOS to accommodate moving the original drive to the second m2 slot and boot into windows per usual?   Or is this going to get complicated and require a reinstall of Windows 10?
